RETREATS IN 2017
Dear friends and students of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh ~
Enrollment is now open for the Loving Work Foundation’s two March 2017 retreats in Viet Nam. Both retreats will be conducted in the Mindfulness Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.
Please see the attached flyer for more detailed information about the two retreats listed below, and visit our website at www.LovingWorkFoundation.org
LOVING WORK RETREAT March 04 to March 18, 2017
Join us in Viet Nam to offer the gift of your presence and service. Retreat work projects vary from year to year depending on the needs of the local community. As in 2015 and 2016, our primary intention in 2017 will be cultivating interbeing with the people of Viet Nam during our 3rd annual Loving Work Retreat near the picturesque town of Hoi An in Central Viet Nam. Includes a 3-day excursion to Hue, home of Viet Nam’s ancient capital and Thich Nhat Hanh's root temple, Tu Hieu Pagoda.
$1,050.00 - Twin Share………………..$1,400.00 - Private Room *
MOBILE MINDFULNESS RETREAT & TOUR March 25 through April 08, 2017
Join us as we travel by land, water and air on a Mobile Mindfulness Retreat from Saigon in the south, through Da Nang and Hue in Central Viet Nam, to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay in the north. All along the way we will visit Buddhist monasteries, pagodas and practice communities, as well as historic sites and humanitarian aid projects in this beautiful and fascinating country.
$2,150.00 - Twin Share……………….$2,400.99 - Private Room *
Both the Loving Work Retreat and the Mobile Mindfulness Retreat are co-led by Dharma Teacher Trish Thompson ~ Chan An Đinh and Order of Interbeing members Michael Melancon (Loving Work Retreat) and Paul Davis (Mobile Mindfulness Retreat).
“Loving Work Foundation Retreats are designed to support our practice of mindfulness. Traveling as a Sangha is not the ordinary tour experience. With the breath as our anchor, we can be present for each deep and joyful moment.”
~ Trish Thompson
